AGMEMOD Network

The AGMEMOD Network aims to establish not only a coalition of agricultural economists working together across common markets, but also to create advisory circles of experts in agricultural commodity markets and sectors in each country covered by AGMEMOD, to validate and thereby improve the model’s results. This process has led to the development of a core competency in the economic modelling of agricultural commodity markets and agricultural policy analysis, enhancing the quality of information available for national and supra-national policy and decision making at all levels.

The AGMEMOD network is coordinated by Thünen Institute (Germany) and Wageningen Economic Research (The Nehterlands). Further members of the network are universities, research institutes and government agencies across Europe and from a few other countries around the world. The network is open for any interested parties.
